This is a very easy and simple recipe. It taste wonderful too.

Put all the ingredients in a medium size pot. Bring the water to boil and then cover. I love those pots with a steam hole. This is a wonderful way to cook any soup. Cook the soup for around 20 to 30 minutes. Check the water level and add more water as needed. Allow to set covered for 5 to 10 minutes before eating. Remember you can have no more than 3/4 tsp of salt for the entire day so you may want to salt your soup after it is finished cooking. Feel free to add in any veggie you like in, such as carrots, leeks, or Swiss Chard. |
